To foster financial independence and support students from low-income groups in pursuing higher education across India, thereby following their desired careers, TU CIBIL launched a scholarship programme in 2016 with its implementation partner. To date, over 6,500 scholarships have been awarded.

Scholarship Programme Process

Eligible students receive the scholarship for their entire course duration, including structured soft skills training and a mentorship programme led by professionals and TU CIBIL associates. Post-study, they can engage in placement drives, paving the way to be gainfully employed and support their families.

#ProudToBeTUCIBILScholar: The TU CIBIL Alumni Program

To date, around 85% of our supported scholars secure successful placements annually. Upon completing their academic courses, they are invited to join the TU CIBIL Alumni Programme, offering networking opportunities with professionals. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to empowering students to realise their full potential and contribute to the country's success.

CSR

Here is the story of Nalini, a TU CIBIL supported scholar for four years of her undergraduate Engineering course

Background: Nalini's parents are farmers from a small town in Maharashtra.

Academics: She’s always been academically gifted.

Challenges: Unaffordable tuition fees put her educational goals in jeopardy.

Interventions: The FFE-TU CIBIL scholarship helped her pursue higher education and work towards her ambitions.

Impact: Nalini has been successfully placed at a multinational company with an annual CTC of 18 LPA.

Mentorship Programme

Launched in 2020, TU CIBIL's Mentoring Programme provides scholars with key foundation skills, such as communication skills, career development, etiquette, etc., to enhance their employability. Scholars engage in virtual, one-on-one interactions with experienced TU CIBIL employees during a structured 4–5-month programme, tracking progress and conducting a post-analysis of imparted skills. To date, over 130 mentees benefited, finding the sessions relevant, with more than 130 associates participating as mentors.
